This curling iron has a really long barrel that allows me to curl my very long hair easily. The entire barrel is the same diameter for the whole length, which is my preference, and the ceramic coating is smooth and allows hair to release easily with no snags. You can tell that the device is plugged in, because the display will indicate that it’s off, and when switched on, you can see the temperature real time. It heats up very fast, in seconds, and lowers temperature fairly fast too, but in about double the time as heating up takes. The controls are well designed and difficult to accidentally hit to turn it on or change the temperature unintentionally. The silicone pad is helpful for peace of mind when you have to set this down, and the power cord is very long, so you have a bit of extra freedom to move. This curling iron works really well and I’m happy with it.
